Time Vortex!! YAY!!

Yay!! A time vortex!!
This is a drawing of the Doctor Who theme song. In the theme song, the TARDIS is spinning through the time vortex. In the 11th doctor season, it gets struck by lightning :)
It's kind of hard to see the color :(
I also got the roof and the windows wrong...

Eiffel Tower Acrylic

I painted this in art class. I used acrylics for it. It's a painting of the Eiffel Tower during four different times of the day. Sunset/rise, dusk/dawn, night, and day.

Doctor Who, Anyone?

Anyone else here a fan of Doctor Who?
Anyway, I drew this today. Recognize it?
If you don't: Ninth Doctor- "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances"

If it's hard to read what it says at the top it says:  "Are you my mummy?"

This Morning, and Yesterday, and the Day Before...

It's been raining all week long! So, I made this painting about it. It's me, walking to the bus stop in the morning. Except there are few things wrong about the picture:
1) My umbrella isn't red. It's white with green and blue polka dots
2) My backpack isn't green. It's blue
3) My coat is not yellow-pink. It's blue
4) The sky is not streaked with random lines of dark gray.
My hair is brown, and my jeans are blue, so that's right :)
I drew in the gray to symbolize the bleak, rainy, miserable mornings I've walked into every single day for the past week. I used watercolors for this.

Smiley Face

This is a picture I took of a smiley face drawn out on our window. I took it a while ago. Now the snow is all gone :)

My Shoes

My shoes looked very photogenic. I edited this picture on picmonkey.com

The Cat and the Mouse

I took this picture, and I thought it turned out really well! It's not a real mouse, obviously. I used my wireless mouse :P

Tree Watercolor

This is a watercolor of a tree I did.  The bottom of the tree is during summer, and the top is during the fall. I'm not sure why I chose to make the background blue and yellow, but it does not have anything to do with seasons. I think it's just a cool background for the tree.

Photography

This is a picture of my cello I took. I took it from an odd angle, and changed it to black and white.
And yes, for those saying "why is there photography on an ART blog?" Well, photography is an art too. So expect more than just drawings and paintings on this blog, because there are so many more things that are "art". Anyway. Cello. Here:

Linoleum Print- Flamingo

This is a linoleum print I made in art class. For linoleum prints, you need a square of linoleum, ink, and linoleum carving tools. We carved out the design, then rolled the ink on, and printed it on paper. It was really fun! My design, as you can see, is a flamingo. The colors I used were black, red, orange, pink, and white. There are more copies (I made eight) but I only took a picture of one :)

Singing in the Rain

This is a movie poster I drew in art class.
We had to pick a movie, and make some wording
using one point perspective. I chose to make the words
"singing" and "rain" for my perspective. For this assignment,
we used colored pencils.
PS. I recommend the movie :P

Owl

This is an owl I drew. I used markers to color it. The brand of markers is Prismacolor. They are really good markers! I would recommend them.

Sydney's Cats

These are two cats my friend Sydney drew and colored. :)

Another Watercolor

This is another watercolor I made.
Again, I used watercolors, brushes, and paper.
This is just a few branches of a tree with an apple on it.

Bird Watercolor

This is a picture of a bird we were pet-sitting.
For this picture, I used watercolors and watercolor paintbrushes. The painting is on watercolor paper.

Acrylic Painting

This is a painting I made yesterday. I used acrylic paints and paintbrushes.
The circles are all warm colors, and the stripes are cool colors. The bottom is both.
